Understanding the project
Types of project management
Agile project management
Agile project management is an iterative approach with a focus on continual monitoring and improvement . Delivering value to customers, interacting with teams, and adjusting to the demands of the business are the fundamental drivers of high-quality output.
Lean project management
The whole point of this practice is to prevent wastage of time and resources. This methodology's guiding ideas were taken from Japanese manufacturing procedures. They are primarily motivated by the desire to increase customer value while using fewer resources.
Waterfall project management
This is similar to traditional project management but includes the caveat that each task needs to be completed before the next one starts. Steps are linear and progress flows in one direction—like a waterfall.
The project ground
On a very basic level, project management includes the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closing of a project.
